Rising to the New Reality
These Artworks are part of a collection of commissioned digital art for the Fortune MPW Next Gen 2020 virtual conference.
1. AWAKENING
Drugged with fear, fear we cannot escape from, we have to step on fallen leaves to realise a new path. After death and destruction a new cell evolves from mother earth. In darkness the leaves have fallen, there is chaos, fish swimming in dark blue waters with no motivational direction. Spermatozoa fighting through a chaos of competitors. The colour blue represents the waking surface of life (water is life). In the centre, circles are forming that resemble an embryo-like shape. A new child being born, awakening on the horizon with the energy of flight (awake) - the horizon representing the balance between darkness and light. Hope is rekindled and motivates us to discover.
2. DISCOVERY
This enflamed artwork shows us we need to step forward and place our feet on the ground. Our feet connect us to mother earth. We need to feel and step into balance with mother earth. By doing so we correct the wrongs, listening to each other. A positive adventure reflecting different points of view, like a circumambulation, a circular movement, not linear, but circular close to each other. In the artwork everything is in sync, the ocean with its life, nature being fertilised - trees with lush leaves grow. Human regeneration in balance. The symbols in the artwork revive dreams by also incorporating the dream ladder - a symbol of the primitive Kings of Africa. Every step is a brief return, how else can we discover?
3. INSPIRED
Once we have listened and found the balance, we have to work the land. We are enriched with the land of plenty once we have found our gold. The beauty is the whole world has a choice. We have to listen to mother earth and to her feminine side. The artwork illustrates the well of giving life. The incubation of a new life. New life gives us light, it is gold. The flower domain of the mercurial earth mother, submerging waters and fruitful flowering sunlit fields…giving rise to the new reality.
