This artwork was created for Chenin South Africa, a grape celebrated for its versatility and rich heritage. Commissoined by the Chenn Blanc Association of South Africa.
Chenin embodies the story of South Africa, with Chenin serving as the flag bearer of the country’s contemporary fine wine renaissance and a vital element of its wine culture. The inaugural Standard Bank Top 10 Chenin Blanc Challenge was established to recognize exceptional Chenin winemaking. The organizers and sponsors emphasize the importance of farm workers in producing these outstanding wines, awarding cash prizes to the top ten producers with the condition that the funds support projects that uplift and upskill farm workers, their families, and their communities.
